About me
Meet Tim Beekman
Hi there! My name is Tim Beekman. I’m a leisure and experience concept developer with a strong focus on immersive experiences and guest journeys. I studied Leisure & Events Management and have been actively involved in the leisure and entertainment industry ever since.
In 2024–2025, I participated in the NextGen Showcase, where I developed the immersive dining concept Dineventure / Bloom. Through this programme I presented the concept at IAAPA 2024 in Amsterdam and Orlando, and in 2025 at TEA in Blackpool, UK. These experiences helped me strengthen my ability to translate creative ideas into realistic, development-ready concepts while gaining valuable international industry feedback.
Alongside concept development, I gained hands-on operational experience through internships at Duinrell, where I was involved in daily park operations, and at Aniba Entertainment, where I worked as a Team Coordinator and contributed to projects for Leisure Expert Group. This combination of creative and operational experience allows me to design concepts that are not only engaging, but also practical and feasible.
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by theme parks and immersive environments. I used to draw park layouts, imagine themed worlds, and think about how spaces could tell stories. Over time, this evolved into a broader interest in immersive experiences of all kinds, from theme parks to shopping malls and entertainment venues.
Guest experience sits at the core of everything I do. Wherever visitors are involved, I naturally analyse how an experience feels, flows, and could be improved. I closely follow trends and developments within the leisure and entertainment industry, always looking for ways to elevate experiences from good to truly memorable.
